- Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe collects and processes payment details according to its own privacy policy and applicable law.
- Communications. Messages you send to support, feedback you submit, and records of reminders or notifications you configure for your clients (where enabled).
- Technical data. IP address, device/browser type, general location (derived from IP), pages viewed, and diagnostic logs — used for security, analytics, and service improvement.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and improve SqueakyBill;
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and protect the security of our systems;
- Send service-related emails (e.g., invoices, payment confirmations, account notices);
- Offer support and respond to your requests;

- Analyze usage in aggregate to understand product performance (where permitted).
Retention
We retain account and invoice data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with law (including tax and accounting rules), and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account subject to legal retention requirements; some information may remain in backups for a limited period.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. SqueakyBill is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
